Discuss the EveryPolitician project: its data on political office-holders worldwide, data quality, sources, and civic uses. * * * EveryPolitician is a global database of political office-holders — from heads of state and legislators to judges and more. It is part of the OpenSanctions project, building on the [original EveryPolitician.org](https://everypolitician.org/about/) created by mySociety. This category is the place to discuss anything related to EveryPolitician: - **Data coverage and quality** — report missing positions or office-holders, flag incorrect data, or suggest new sources for a country or jurisdiction - **Using the data** — share how you’re using EveryPolitician data for research, journalism, civic tech, or accountability projects - **Contributing** — ask about how to help improve coverage, or propose new territories and positions to track - **Ideas and feedback** — suggest features, improvements, or new ways the data could be made more useful Whether you’re a journalist investigating political networks, a researcher studying governance, or a civic technologist building tools for accountability — this is your space. Please feel free to post any question or observation, no matter how small. For technical questions about the OpenSanctions API or bulk data, the [Support & Questions](https://discuss.opensanctions.org/c/support/5) category may also be useful.
